why does everyone consistently forget that the Jewish people are an ethnicity and an ancient culture, not simply a religion/belief system. Not all Jews practice Judaism. Not all of us are religious. We are a people. For many of us, Jewishness is cultural, familial, and deeply tied to our personal identity.

on that note though, religious Jews are wonderful and deserve respect. Judaism is a beautiful religion full of love, life, light, and family. Jews who have continued to practice Judaism in the face of antisemetism and persecution are incredibly brave and are loved so deeply by G-d
